We have been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. We have learned about the four different stages that is in the life cycle: 1. Egg, 2. Larva (caterpillar), 3. Pupa (chrysalis), and 4. Butterfly.
Here are some links that you and your child can look at together to help support what we have learned in class:
At the Cocoon site you and your child will be able to see a video of the life cycle of a butterfly. You can also check out an animated story! This site is a great resource for learning about butterflies!!
At the Butterfly Life Cycle Stages site you will be able to match the names of the stages to their pictures. How fast can you do it?!
At the site with Earth's Birthday Project, can you make each of the sentences true by placing the correct word in the blanks?
