In class, we have been learning about how to use our senses to make observations. We have been using our sight, feel, and smell to make these observations. Learning about making observations is part of our science TEKs (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills).
I have gathered some sites that have games and activities that support what we learned in class about making observations. Have fun with your child as you explore some of these sites!
At the King of the Forest site take a deep look into both pictures to try and find the differences! There are eight in all, can you do it?!
At the Oddball site, help your child pick the object that doesn't fit with the others.
At the Animal Tracks site, use the magnifying glass to take a close look at the animal tracks. Then match the tracks to the animal they came from. This one may be a little more tricky, so be sure to help your child and have a lot of fun!!
